Infrastructure Betterment Fund
The Infrastructure Betterment Fund is a $512.5 million initiative by the Australian and NSW governments aimed at rebuilding and improving disaster-affected public infrastructure, such as roads and bridges. The fund supports projects that repair damage from past natural disasters while also enhancing resilience to future climate impacts, specifically those directly damaged by the bushfires of 2019/20 and flood events of 2021 and early 2022.
